Tardebigge Reservoir
It felt as bitterly cold as it looks! Tardebigge Reservoir was built to provide a water supply LinkExternal link to top up the flight of locks on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal. The view is from the outflow LinkExternal link for excess water into the canal towards the dam. The operational water supply for the canal is through a sluice gate near the top of the flight LinkExternal link . Additional water was once pumped LinkExternal link into the canal upstream of the whole flight of locks.
