102 High St
The building at No. 102 High St is Grade II listed as it has Liverpool's only surviving Georgian bow-fronted shop window. In 1846 it was a saddler's shop, later in the 19th century a cycle manufacturer and a traditional cobbler as late as the 1980's although the window was on the verge of disintegration. Fortunately it was saved and expertly restored by the wood-turner who sells his wares from the premises.
