Gibraltar has a new roof
Gibraltar has a new roof
The ruined building, Gibraltar, stands on the narrowing spur of land between the Beldon and Nookton Burns. It's been deserted and even ruinous for decades and seemed doomed to continuing deterioration: perhaps it still is. There's been however some attempt by the owners to arrest decay - the roof stones have been removed and a corrugated metal replacement has been installed. That's all however; the window and door apertures are all still open to the elements... and to sheep!
