Graveyard above eastern end of Loch Arkaig
Graveyard above eastern end of Loch Arkaig
The graveyard occupies an elevated position above the estate road that runs from Achnacarry along the south side of Loch Arkaig into Glen Mallie. Achnacarry Castle is the seat of the Cameron Clan and a number of clan chiefs are remembered in this secluded location; the central monument is to Donald Cameron, the 24th. clan chief.
The distant hills seen through trees are to the north-east of the eastern end of Loch Arkaig.
