A Mk 2 Leyland National and former Leyland Vehicles development vehicle, now under the care of Workington Transport Heritage Trust. The vehicle, in common with all Leyland Nationals, was built at the Lillyhall plant in Workington, Cumbria.
Kirkby Stephen & Brough Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally 2019

The 21st rally held in the Eden Valley in Cumbria. On the weekend of 20 and 21 April, many classic vehicles could be noted around the local roads and on show at various sites in the villages. A free bus service connecting Brough, Winton and Kirkby Stephen was offered, giving the visitor an opportunity to sample some historic passenger service vehicle delights! The weekend as graced with glorious weather, with wall-to-wall sunshine and temperatures in excess of 20°C on both days.

A road run leaving Brough at 1630 hrs on the Saturday afternoon saw vehicles taking a challenging route via Kirkby Stephen, Great Asby and Soulby.
