The historic university town is twinned with St Germain Sur Moine in France.
The small sign below the main sign shows Birthplace of Rugby in Wales.
Dating from 1850, Lampeter University rugby team was the first in Wales,
formed by Rowland Williams who brought the game from Cambridge.
