Fife on the Great Polish Map of Scotland
Looking past Fife Ness and up the Firth of Forth as represented on the 50m x 40m relief map of Scotland in the grounds of Barony Castle Hotel, Eddleston which was during WW2 the main Polish Forces' staff training college. The map was constructed by Poles between 1975 and 1979 as a thank you to Scotland for hosting Polish troops during WW2, then it was abandoned and later restored between 2014 and 2017 by a charity Mapa Scotland.
