Ferry Bridge, Burton upon Trent
Opened in 1889, this fine suspension bridge over the River Trent, was built by the local ironmasters firm of Thornewill & Warham, and paid for by Sir Michael Arthur Bass (later Lord Burton) (whose wife was a Thornewill) to replace the Stapenhill Ferry.
