St Mary's Church, Caerhun
Located within the Roman fort of Canovium, the church is entered through a stone lychgate or over a stone stile. The present church is 13-15 century, with south transept of 1591; 18c windows and an unusual double bell-cote. A small ancient stone set into the wall over the entrance has a sculpted figure of Christ. There is a double bellcote, but no sign of there having been two bells there.
