This is to the right of the track shown in SK1099 : The Trans-Pennine Trail alongside the former railway track, Charlesworth CP. It seems that the trail track was made on the edge of the railway land rather than on the track bed. Perhaps drainage would have been a problem as the track bed seems to be generally lower. This grassy strip is probably preferred by horses (and their riders).
