St Eata's Church, Atcham
The parish church of St Eata dates from the twelfth century. The nave and chancel were built incorporating reused Roman blocks from Wroxeter (Viroconium) SJ5608 : Wroxeter Roman City. The tower was built circa 1300 tower with the top stage added during the late 15th or early 16th century. In his proposals for the landscaping of Attingham Park in the eighteenth century, Humphry Repton suggested the addition of a spire to the church as an eyecatcher, but this was never implemented.

The church is a Grade I listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1176664 LinkExternal link ).
