Fake fossil, Broadford
Ammonites rarely grow in quartzite, so I suspect this one is a fairly recent fossil made from concrete. It and the lump of quartzite it's attached to are part of the wall surrounding a small park LinkExternal link in central Broadford, which also features a well-explained geological timeline embedded in a path using different rocks.
