Cardiff Bay Railway Station
Cardiff Bay Railway Station
Cardiff Bay Railway Station opened in 1840 and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The building is listed as Grade II by Cadw but fell into disrepair when it closed. In 2016 it was listed as one of the top 10 endangered buildings by the Victorian Society. LinkExternal link
With loans from Cardiff Council and the Welsh Government the building is now nearing a sympathetic restoration as offices. Compare with ST1974 : Cardiff Bay railway station, Cardiff
A shame they didn't retain the canopy to the right for the proposed cafe / cocktail bar.
