SP4745 : Oxford Canal: Slat Mill Bridge Number 156

Oxford Canal: Slat Mill Bridge Number 156
Oxford Canal: Slat Mill Bridge Number 156
This bridge is now a farmers' accommodation bridge, but was originally built to provide access to a now dismantled corn mill on the nearby River Cherwell. On all the old large Ordnance Survey maps that mill is referred to as Slate Mill, not Slat Mill, but the latter name now seems to be in current usage.

The bridge is a Grade II Listed Structure, probably because it is relatively unchanged since it was first built.
