Southsea Castle and Lighthouse
Southsea Castle and Lighthouse
Southsea Castle is an artillery fort originally constructed by Henry VIII in 1544. It was expanded and redesigned in the 17th and 19th centuries. The lighthouse built into the north face of the castle dates from 1828. The lighthouse only (not the castle) is a Grade II listed building. LinkExternal link
