Ramsgate Station
Ramsgate Station
This grand and spacious station (now grade II listed) was opened by the Southern Railway in 1926 as part of a complete reorganisation of the Isle of Thanet network. It replaced two older stations that were more conveniently located but were not connected to each other by rail.
Ramsgate Station

Ramsgate railway station is located about 10 minutes away on foot from the town centre. The station lies on the Chatham Main Line 79 miles east of London Victoria, the Kent Coast Line (via Dover), and the Ashford to Ramsgate line (via Canterbury West). Train services are currently provided by Southeastern. The line opened in 1846, but the building dates from 1926 and is Grade II listed. LinkExternal link
