Jodrell Bank Arboretum :: SJ8071

Jodrell Bank is most famous for its radio telescope but the site is also home to national collections of trees (particularly of the Sorbus family) forming part of its arboretum of over 3000 trees and shrubs. These form the Lovell Tree Collection which was started by Sir Bernard Lovell in 1972 and opened to the public in 1976.
