Looking upstream on the River Lyvennet from the footbridge, which is still open. To reach it you seem to have to go through a cottage garden, but the owners were quite happy for me to use it. The remains of the concrete base of the roadway can easily be seen. This ford is closed to normal vehicles, though it is fine for farm tractors and the like.
