Brighton Palace Pier
Brighton Palace Pier
Commonly known as Brighton Pier, the Palace Pier was opened in 1899 with additions at various times during the 20th century. It is 1722 feet in length with many varied attractions and is considered by many to be the finest pier ever built. During the 20th century, many famous people performed on the pier, though during World War II, the pier was closed as a security precaution. It is a Grade II* listed building. LinkExternal link
