Ridley Bastle
The Keys to the Past website says: "This bastle, a fortified farmhouse, was built in the late 16th or early 17th century. It has two storeys and measures about 10m by 7m. The side walls are about 0.8m thick and the end walls over 1m. It is a typical example of the type of bastle found in this area. It was heavily altered in 1960. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law."
