Stewartby Lake
Stewartby Lake
This part of Bedfordshire was once dominated by the brickmaking industry. The legacy of that is a number of flooded clay pits that now form the basis of the Marston Vale Millennium Country Park. The chimneys of the Stewartby Brickworks have also survived and can be seen here across the lake.
