Stewartby Station
Stewartby Station
A feature of the 2004 resignalling of this railway (which represented a significant investment in a once-threatened route) was the construction of a new platform at Stewartby allowing the level crossing barriers to be raised while a train stood at the station. This staggered arrangement is generally good practice where a station is located at a level crossing. In this view a Bedford - Bletchley train awaits departure.
