Queen's Mere, Wimbledon Common
Queen's Mere, Wimbledon Common
Queen's Mere, excavated to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria, is one of several ponds on Wimbledon Common and it is the deepest. Completely surrounded by trees it has a secluded and rather remote feel although it is easily accessible.
