The end of an old farm building
Click on the end-note title for other views of the site. After having previously visited the general area, I felt that I should make at least a token effort to examine the outline of the building itself, but, as I had been expecting, it proved to be greatly overgrown with bracken.
Nevertheless, the raised grassy area in the foreground of the picture is what my intuition told me (and readers can make up their own minds) is the near end-wall, with the remainder of the building receding directly from view behind it, though entirely hidden from view by the vegetation.

Former site of a farmstead
The footings of a building (at NS24597244, and oriented SW—NE) are visible about 50 metres WNW of a circular sheep ree that is marked on the 1:25000 map; see Link
