Wyrley and Essington Canal remnant near Huddlesford, Staffordshire
Looking north-east towards Huddlesford Junction from Watery Lane Bridge.
The whole Wyrley and Essington Canal was open by 1797, this section being abandoned by 1955, but the whole length is gradually undergoing restoration. This last thousand metres to Huddlesford Junction is used by Lichfield Cruising Club for private moorings.
