Opened in 1872 by the Great North of Scotland Railway on the line from Inveramsay to Macduff, this station closed to passengers in 1951 and completely in 1961.
View north west across the station towards the eponymous river crossing, from a similar position to NJ6963 : Banff Bridge Station and view NW to Banff Bay. The hillside vegetation has grown substantially in the intervening 58 years! The building is now a private residence.
