Former railway bridge of the Axholme Joint Railway at Graizelound
The Axholme Joint Railway opened from August 1903 but the part to Haxey was not opened until 2nd January 1905. The main purpose of the line was the movement of freight. It was closed to passengers on 15th July 1933 and closed completely between Haxey Junction and Epworth on 1st February 1956. Much of the line in Haxey and to the north has been converted into a linear nature reserve but here at Akeferry Road in Graizelound it is inaccessible.
