Tooley's Historic Dry Dock and Forge
Tooley's Historic Dry Dock and Forge
Banbury is probably best known for its cross but for canal enthusiasts Tooley's boatyard is the important historic sight. It is famous as the yard that fitted out Tom Rolt's narrowboat 'Cressy' for leisure cruising in 1939 - a pioneering venture at the time. The business is still going strong.
