Edmund Gooter "was called to rest suddenly on Sunday morning November 7th 1891 aged 64 years. He was for nearly 16 years the station master at Beckingham and for over 40 years in the service of the Great Northern Railway Company". This gravestone is alongside the south wall of All Saints Churchyard, Beckingham.
