Finding the right Angle

Angle was originally organised on the strip-field system
('The Buildings of Wales: Pembrokeshire' Lloyd, T.; Orbach, J.; and Scourfield, R. p123: New Haven: Yale University Press, 2004). It is a linear village surrounded by fertile land, near a delightful bay. The church was restored in 1862 by the Mirehouse family who owned a brickworks in the village. Behind the parish church is a 14th-century Fisherman's Chapel ('Tiny Churches' Wills, D. pp215-219) and in the churchyard some Welsh Slate CWGC memorials LinkExternal link
