Convent on Summerhill Grove
Convent on Summerhill Grove
This is St Anne's Convent, which used to occupy the larger premises on the right until 1987. Summerhill Grove was built in the 1820's as fashionable town houses on the western side of Newcastle, away from the overcrowded town centre and developing industry.
