The visitors car park at the Lough Gur site in County Limerick. This site has seen human occupation since Neolithic times and on through the centuries. There is a visitor centre here and a number of features of archaeological interest. Situated at the foot of the hill of Knockadoon between Bruff Gaelic An Bru R6236 and Herbertstown Gaelic Baile Hiobaird R6841 it is within easy reach of a number of castles, standing stones and megalithic tombs. Do however check with visitor centre staff regarding access to sites. Time photo taken not available.
