Ravenscar Station
Ravenscar Station
The station at Ravenscar, originally called Peak, opened in 1885 and closed 80 years later in 1965 as part of the Beeching era cuts. All that remains is the former up platform. In this direction, looking towards Whitby, the railway used to enter a short cutting and a tunnel and the route is now fenced off.
