Birmingham and Fazeley Canal - Salford Junction
Birmingham and Fazeley Canal - Salford Junction
This is under Gravelly Hill interchange that is also known as Spaghetti Junction. The visible water is the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal heading for Tamworth. I had just come up the length from Aston Junction. The other canals at this four way junction are the Tame Valley Canal to Tipton and the Birmingham & Warwick Junction Canal to Bordesley Village and Digbeth. The River tame also runs through here and the canals pass over it on two aqueducts. This was my first visit here in over twenty years and it was a pleasant afternoon walk.
