Tap & Spile
Former White Horse Inn on the corner of Hungate and Motherby Lane, built 1921 to designs by J.Davis, though the list of publicans goes back to 1826 for a previous building on the site. The original entrance was below the bay window on Hungate, now blocked and replaced by a window.
