SJ8292 : Semi-detached houses

Semi-detached houses
Semi-detached houses
Houses in Derwent Avenue. At one time both bays would have been tile hung, but one has been modernised. This normally happens because of damp under the tile hanging.

Tile hanging became popular in the Arts and Crafts period, but lingered in this unimaginative reduced style to the 1940s. I think these are 1930s houses
