Barham Park
Barham Park
In the 18th century the land here belonged to Crab's House which was acquired in 1801 by John Copland. He then built a new house which became known as Barham Mansion after the estate came in to the hands of Sir George Barham, founder of the Express Dairy. His son left the house and grounds to the citizens of Wembley in 1937. Although the house was demolished in the 1950s the grounds remain as a municipal park managed by Brent Borough Council.
