The Kodak Site in 2019
The Kodak Site in 2019
The Kodak film company opened a factory in Harrow in 1891. At its peak in the 1950s around 6000 people worked here but the rise of digital photography and Kodak's failure to engage with it caused a swift decline, leading to eventual closure in 2016.
The factory has been demolished and the site is being prepared for housing.
