Mickleover Trail

The Mickleover Trail is a five mile footpath and cycle path between Mickleover and Egginton in Derbyshire. It reuses part of the former Great Northern Railway line between Derby Friargate and Egginton Junction, which was used as a test track by the British Rail Research Division for many years after the line closed to ordinary traffic. It forms part of National Cycle Network route 54.
