Plaque to Harry Brearley, Livermead
A blue plaque has now been placed on a gate pier at the house shown in SX8962 : Harry Brearley's house, Livermead. Harry Brearley invented stainless steel in Sheffield and retired here in 1930. I think the current owners have also changed the name of the house from Cheniston back to Walton Cottage.
