Devon Railway Centre - Ivor the engine
Ivor has just pulled this train into the station anis about to run round. Ivor was built in 1944 by Motor Rail of Bedford for the MOD. After WWII it worked on a peat railway in Cumbria before being bought by Alan Keef of Ross-on-Wye. It was rebuilt with a new engine and worked at Pembrey in Wales. It arrived at Bickleigh in 1999 and has hauled many thousands of passengers since.
