Looking towards Suffolk Street.
This shows the current status of the roads here as the huge redevelopment progresses. The Midlands Metro tram is performing trial journeys between New Street Station and the new terminus off to the right by Centenary Square, the ICC and Symphony Hall. There are no overhead power wires. Trams operate between Grand Central (New Street Station) and Library (Centenary Square/ICC/Symphony Hall) on battery power.
