High water in Bedford
The bridge taking the A6 over the Great Ouse just coping after several days of rain. St Paul's Church in the background.
Update: Since this photo was taken the A6 has been diverted and, since 2013, now bypasses the centre of Bedford by a new road 3-4 km west of the town centre.
