taken 12 years ago, 3 km from Luss, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Old quarry in Ross Wood
Birch, rowan and blaeberries growing in the old deserted quarry. The quarry appears to be along the line of a late Carboniferous tholeiitic dyke, cutting through part of the Ben Ledi Grit Formation.
