Etruria Industrial Museum - beam engine
Princess was installed second-hand in 1856 and is believed to be c1820s-1830s vintage, possibly by Bateman & Sherratt of Salford. This beam is, however, a replacement cast in 1917 by Dean & Lowe of Stoke-on-Trent. Access to the beam floor is strictly at the discretion and invitation of the volunteers.
