Stalin victims memorial, Ukrainian church, Eccleshill
Stalin victims memorial, Ukrainian church, Eccleshill
A chilling reminder of an atrocity that has faded from popular conscience much more than World War Two, this is a memorial to the seven million victims of Stalin in the Ukraine in the 1930s. It is on the corner of the former Methodist Chapel on Stone Lane, for context see SE1836 : Ukrainian church, Stone Lane, Eccleshill.
