King George's Fields
King George's Fields
The entrance to the King George V Playing Fields in Amos Lane. Once home to a paddling pool and tennis courts it is now given over to football pitches and provides a site for travelling fairs. It adjoins Wednesfield Park.

King George's Fields were set up as a memorial to the late king and usually have plaques either side of the entrance gates. SJ9400 : Heraldic Plaque, King George's Field SJ9400 : Heraldic plaque, King George's Field
