SJ7824 : High Bridge

taken 23 days ago, near to Norbury, Staffordshire, Great Britain

High Bridge
High Bridge
High Bridge, No. 39 on that part of the Shropshire Union Canal which was originally the Birmingham and Liverpool Junction Canal; it carries the A518. The bridge has a curious brick-built 'brace' beneath the arch at around mid-height which appears to have the top part of a telegraph pole fitted; there seem to be no wires running from it.
