Shingle Street: a line of shells
This line of whelk shells stretches from the shore to the former coastguard cottages. It was created in 2005 by the letter-cutter Lida Cardozo Kindersley and her childhood friend the ceramicist Els Bottema when they were convalescing here after cancer treatment.
