SD7226 : Trig Point on Duckworth Hill

taken 2 years ago, near to Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, Great Britain

Trig Point on Duckworth Hill
Trig Point on Duckworth Hill
Surrounded by a personal moat, in the middle of a soggy pasture - this triangulation column is graced with a film of lichen and moss, giving the naked concrete a greenish tinge.
It lacks the freshly white paint that coat many summit trig points, giving it a forlorn and neglected ambience.
